How to get rid of Artex

Updated: Mar 5, 2021

❗ 😷 ARTEX ❗ 😷

Artex patterns were very popular in the early 70’s. It was used as an internal decor for ceilings and walls (mainly ceiling’s). This phase was in fashion in British homes right through the 80’s and 90’s. It was applied with different styled patterns such as stipple, shell, broken leather, fan comb, medusa, swirl... the list goes on.

It eventually became outdated and these days, most people would much rather have a nice flat and smooth finish. It isn’t an easy job and you need a professional to give you that silky smooth finish, luckily this is something we can offer! Whether you have artex on your ceiling, staircase or even a feature wall in your living room, we have transformed them all. Whether you are tired of the artex in your home or renovating your new house, we can help.
